Monarch Butterflies

A few years ago I had the opportunity to attend a Monarch Teacher Network workshop. I was hooked! Since then I have been raising monarch butterflies at school (and over the summer at home). On the east coast, I begin to see the monarchs in July. During the spring, I begin preparing by planting milkweed, the monarch's host plant.
