We just finished up a unit on the comprehension strategy - Visualizing. My go-to professional resources for this topic are Strategies that Work by Stephanie Harvey and Anne Goudvis and Debbie Miller's Reading with Meaning:Teaching Comprehension in the Primary Grade.
